The Body Shop: Baked to Last Event♥

On friday i was invited to the latest Body Shop Bloggers event in the elegant Westbury Hotel in London. We were welcomed by the lovely Natalie the ushered up to a suite and handed glasses of champagne and food to nibble on.

Much like the last event we were shown a presentation of the new launches coming up, and then given a demonstration of the new makeup by the wonderful Chase Aston.

The main focus for the event was the 'Baked-to-Last Colours' the new colours for summer. Each product is baked slowly over 24hrs in Italy, which results in beautiful intense colour and long lasting lasting coverage on your skin. Using freshly milled powderes and gorgeous shimmers, your skin gets a lovely glow and sheen from these products. No chucky glitter or shiney skin from these, this is due to extra pearl and less talc that results in the richer color.

They also contain Community Trade Olive Oil and  Marula Oil.

With the collection of products they have released two bronzer's RRP £14.00 , two blusher's RRP £12.00  and eight duo eyeshadow RRP £9.50.

My favourites from this are the bronzer - Golden Bronze and the blush - Petal

We also got to see the new lipstick products 'Delipcious Lip Sheer' RRP £9.00 and 'Tinted lip balm' RRP £7.00

For me i loved the pink tinted lip balm, very moisturising due to the cocoa butter and just a lovely hint of rosey pink shimmer to the lips.
They are also launching two new products to the Vitamin C range, a new eye treatment Eye Reviver Duo that has a rollerball to soothe the eye area and a cream at the other side to brighten and revive your tired eyes. I will be reviewing this along with other rollerball eye treatments soon. The other new release is the Skin Radiance Powder Mix, which you mix together on the day you open the product, because you want the Vitamin C to stay fresh which will help you get brighter skin, again i will do a review on this once i have tried it.

Finally they are launching a new Eco Hair Care range which will be sent to me in the next week or so, and i will be doing a separate post on that when i receive the items. The range is transitioning over from the current range, but more hair concern focused rather than ingredient focused. It smell's sooo yummy though, i could've sniffed that all day!
It was a lovely event, very well organised as ever, thank you to Zoe, Barbie & Natalie, as well as everyone behind the scenes that i didn't get to meet. I had a wonderful time thank you.
